Visiting any church, especially a new one, for the first time can be a tough experience. Where to go? What to wear? What time to arrive? What’s here for my kids? What can I expect? These and many other questions surface whenever you visit a church for the first time.
We want your first visit to Harvestview Baptist to be refreshing and enjoyable for you and your family. We want you to experience God-honoring music, biblical preaching, helpful teaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home” with us! Here are a few answers to questions you may have and what you can expect on your first visit.
FINDING US
We are easy to find. The church is located off the Menan / Lorenzo exit on Highway 20. We are located in the same parking lot as the Cup O’Bliss coffee shack.
SINGING
Our singing is designed to worship God and remind us of His character and promises. We have congregational singing in a conservative format. We sing traditional and modern hymns.
MESSAGE
Preaching is the focus of the service. We have biblical, expository preaching that focuses on correct interpretation, and application of God’s word. The Bible is God’s Word, and He has given us absolute truth that we can trust in to guide us and give us answers to life.
NURSERY
We offer a nursery for children ages newborn through 3 years old. Nursery-aged children can be checked into the nursery when the older children are dismissed for their class during the song service.
CHILDREN
Children age 4 through 3rd grade are welcome to attend Junior Worship, which is located in the classroom at the top of the stairs. Children are dismissed to their class by the song leader after our first few congregational songs. In Junior Worship they will sing songs, have fun with games and crafts, and learn about God and His Word at their level.
